I am Donna Sullivan, and proud to oversee associate and resident satisfaction for the company. Positive experiences lead to trust, which means that our residents and their families can have peace of mind. Our associates are the key to that trust. I am committed to creating a workplace culture that encourages individual growth, respect and value for all of our associates. By taking care of our associates, we ensure that they will take very good care of our residents.
I have been in senior housing for thirty years… you might say that I was drawn to the industry. Early in my career, I would visit my grandmother in a small assisted living facility. Back then they were call Adult Congregate Living Facilities not ALF’s. I did not look forward to my visits with her because she was not happy and it made me sad to see her that way. The employees provided care for her, but they were not happy either and were not even engaged with each other. It was during this time of my life that I decided I was going to be a part of this industry.
My first position in senior housing was in Sales and Marketing. Three years later I became an Assistant Administrator, and then Administrator of my very own community. Later, I became a District Manager for one of the largest senior living companies in the industry. I joined SRI in 2008 as the Regional Director of Operations and quickly rose to become Vice President of Operations before being promoted to my current role.
Taking care of the hearts of associates and residents, while running a profitable operation, is what make a company special… and successful. I strive to make sure that SRI is that company.
“We are guided by our Family First philosophy and the Golden Rule… always treating associates, residents and families the way that we ALL want to be treated.”
