Westhill Macon Celebrates New Chapter with Re-Grand Opening

Wednesday, Westhill Macon in Georgia opened its doors to celebrate a new beginning. What started as a management transition in 2025 has blossomed into something truly special, a community where residents feel at home, families trust completely, and a dedicated team shows up with heart every single day.
The ribbon-cutting brought together partners from across Macon who believe in what we're building here: a place where senior living is about more than amenities. It's about meaningful connections, purposeful work, and the freedom for residents to live their best lives.
We welcomed SRI Management corporate team members, Jessica Walden from the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, and our remarkable Executive Director Christa Bourne. But more importantly, we celebrated the team members who make Westhill Macon exceptional. These are the caregivers, activities coordinators, dining staff, and maintenance professionals who chose careers in senior living because they genuinely care.
Westhill Macon isn't just a beautiful community with resort-style amenities, Artful Dining, Zestful Activities, or Heartul Care. It's a place where neighbors become friends, where expertise meets compassion, and where every day is an opportunity to enrich someone's life.

Midsouth Senior Management, in partnership with SRI Management , today announces the addition of four senior living communities to its portfolio across three new states: White Oaks in Lawton, Michigan; Governor’s Pointe and Governor’s Port in Mentor, Ohio; and Randall Residence in Decatur, Illinois. In Mentor, Ohio, Governor’s Pointe offers Assisted Living in a smaller, more personal setting where residents are known by name and staff understand the routines and preferences that make daily life feel like their own. Governor’s Port , also in Mentor, serves active older adults through Independent Living, with comfortable apartment homes, a resident-shaped activity calendar, and easy access to Lake Erie beaches, Great Lakes Mall, and the James A. Garfield National Historic Site. Together, the two communities give Lake County families a full range of senior living options close to home. Randall Residence in Decatur, Illinois, offers a full continuum of care of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care all under one roof. We’ve always focused on creating an environment where residents feel supported, engaged, and truly known. Now, we’re building on that commitment in a meaningful way. As of April 1, Harper's Station Gainesville has expanded its Memory Care offering by assuming management of the standalone Memory Care community located adjacent to Harper’s Station Gainesville. While this neighboring community has long been part of the Gainesville landscape, it will now operate under the same approach, standards, and philosophy that guide everything we do. This allows us to create a more consistent experience across both communities while expanding our ability to serve residents with specialized needs. For residents and families, this expansion means more access to dedicated Memory Care support, greater consistency in how care is delivered, and a stronger connection between services. It also allows us to enhance programming and provide an environment intentionally designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. “This is a natural extension of what we’re already doing at Harper’s Station,” said Taylor Bratkovich, Vice President of Operations for SRI Management . “By bringing this community under our management, we’re able to create greater consistency in care, strengthen team support, and enhance the overall resident experience.
