Cartoonist George Pieper Draws From Experience

Seagrass Village of Fleming Island resident George Pieper became a photographer and then a cartoonist for the United States Navy.


Now, he spends his time teaching others how to draw, and how to come up with stories worth telling.


"It's the process that gets me excited," George says. "It's coming up with something and then making it happen. It might not be perfect, but it's mine."
