Idalia Downgraded But Communities Still Vigilant

The outer rain bands still affect many of our Florida communities, but they have weathered the worst storm. Our Sunflower Springs at Homosassa community was evacuated ahead of Idalia; however, the building appears in good shape. No apartments were flooded, and the building never lost power.


Although Hurricane Idalia has been downgraded to a Category 1 storm, our Georgia and South Carolina communities are still on high alert. Rain bands and high wind gusts are still probable as Idalia is forecast to make its way up across Georgia and the Atlantic coast.
