We've Been Named #6 Best Small Company to Work for in Florida

Published: July 31, 2024

We proudly announce that Florida Trend magazine has recognized us as the #6 Best Small Company to Work for in Florida. The prestigious annual Best Companies to Work for in Florida list, featured in the August issue, ranks 100 companies in small, medium, and large employer categories.

To participate in the program, companies or government entities were required to have at least 15 workers in Florida and to be in operation for at least one year. Companies underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including assessing their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. Additionally, a comprehensive survey measured employee satisfaction. The combined scores from these evaluations determined the top companies and final rankings.

“In today’s hyper-competitive labor market, it takes more than good salaries and benefits to attract and keep talent,” says Florida Trend Executive Editor Amy Keller. “Looking under the hood, we see that the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ in Florida maintain an edge by prioritizing culture and creating environments where employees are engaged, feel valued, and can grow. They also strive to balance employee needs with business priorities, baking flexibility, and fun into the workplace. Their examples provide a terrific blueprint for companies seeking to stand out from the pack.”

This is SRI Management’s third consecutive year on the list. However, this year’s ranking is the highest.

"Being named one of Florida's top ten Best Companies to Work For shows just how much we care about making this a great place to work. We put a lot of effort into making sure everyone feels valued and part of the team, and this award really highlights the dedication and hard work of our amazing team,” said SRI Management CEO Don Bishop.

President Todd Filippone added, "Our team is the heart of our success, and we've always prioritized creating a culture that supports growth, satisfaction, and excellence. This recognition shows how we keep working hard to make this a fantastic place for everyone to work."

The Best Companies to Work for In Florida program is managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. Workforce Research Group handled the registration, survey, and analysis and determined the final rankings.

We're proud to share that SRI Management has once again been named one of Florida's Best Companies To Work For, ranking #6 among medium-sized employers statewide. This marks the fifth consecutive year we've earned this recognition from Florida Trend magazine's annual Best Companies To Work For In Florida program. Why this one means something different Being named to a list like this once is a nice moment. Being named to it five years in a row tells a different story — one about consistency, not luck. This recognition isn't based on marketing or self-promotion. It comes from an independent evaluation of workplace policies and practices, paired with a survey measuring real employee satisfaction. In other words, it reflects what it's actually like to work here, according to the people who do. "Being named to this list once is meaningful. Being named five years in a row tells you something different — it tells you this isn't a moment, it's who we are," said Don Bishop, CEO of SRI Management. "Our teams show up every day for the residents and families we serve, and this recognition belongs to them." "What makes this mean the most to me is that it's driven directly by our employees' voices," said Ryan Carlson, SVP of Human Resources. "That's not something you can manufacture — you have to earn it, year after year." A recognition built on people, not policy Florida's Best Companies To Work For program is managed by Florida Trend and the Workforce Research Group, and endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. To qualify, companies must employ at least 15 people in Florida and have been in operation for at least one year. From there, participating organizations are evaluated on workplace policies, practices, and culture — and their employees are surveyed directly to measure satisfaction. At SRI Management, we believe great senior living care starts with a great workplace. When our teams feel supported, valued, and set up to succeed, that care extends naturally to the residents and families who trust us every day. We're grateful to every team member across our communities and home office who made this fifth consecutive recognition possible. Here's to continuing to raise the bar — together.
